Meet Dr. John A. Jacobi

Dr. Jacobi, a native of Fort Worth, has proudly offered outstanding periodontal care to the Fort Worth community for over 20 years. With training from some of the best dental institutions in the nation, Dr. Jacobi regularly pursues ongoing continuing education and stays up-to-date on innovations in periodontal and implant care. His constant educational pursuits, his use of the most advanced dental technology, and his years of dedicated experience have resulted in being recognized as one of the top periodontists in the DFW area.

Education and Experience

Dr. Jacobi attended St. Andrew Catholic School and Nolan Catholic High School right here in Fort Worth. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio before receiving his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. Following dental school, Dr. Jacobi completed a postdoctoral program in Periodontics at the  University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, and the Preceptorship in Dental Implantolgy at the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio.

He is a member of the American Dental Association®, the Texas Dental Association,  the American Academy of Periodontology, the Southwest Society of Periodontists, and the Fort Worth District Dental Society.

On a Personal Note

Dr. Jacobi has been married to his wife, Martha, for 30 years. They have 4 children, including their daughter Elizabeth, who graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 2014 and now practices in Rhode Island. Dr. Jacobi is an active member of the Fort Worth community and has been involved in activities including coaching his sons’ basketball and soccer teams, coaching his daughters in tennis, and volunteering at his church and diocese. In his spare time, Dr. Jacobi enjoys working on a small ranch in West Texas, travelling and learning the history of small towns in Texas, and hiking state and national parks.
